Slack app to notify teammates by phone call

Use case

Sometimes you have to notify your teammate ASAP to do something.
For example: to remind to connect to a Zoom conference, to notify about an urgent incident, to get an important answer right now. You have sent a message to a user on Slack, but have no answer and are not sure when the user answer you.

How to ping user via phone call

1. Just type in Slack: /pushcall @<username>
2. PushCall will generate an automatical phone call to this user.
3. The user doesn't have to answer a call, it's just a reminder: "Hey, look in your Slack, please!"

It's just an additional type of notification alert: with more important status, that is difficult to miss.
For example, you will see it on your smartwatch or driving a car.

How to setup

1. Press Add to Slack button on PushCall home page

2. Choose your Slack workspace to install the app.

3. Type /pushcall enable <your phone number> (enter your number in international format).

4. Type /pushcall @<your username>

5. You will receive an inciming call from Pushcall robot.

6. Save this number to your phone contacts book as Slack notification or something like.

7. Ask your teammates to do the same (3-5 steps).
